Hi, My name is Hummer, aka Cassavona, aka Cassius. This dear lady found me in the WalMart parking lot . She named me Cassius but called me Cas. For a couple of weeks I lived in the utopia of her mudroom. She realized that I was a lover not a fighter so I became Cassanova. I liked being there very much. But then her daughter took me to a "little shop of horrors" called a vet. Then I was put in a carrier and carted here and there. Eventually, I ended up at an event called a "Portable Adoption. There were many other cats and more kinds of dogs than I ever realized existed. They were all sizes and shapes but they had one thing in common. They barked. I was so terrified. Finally this adoption thing was over and I was put in a carrier again and wheeled outside in a grocery cart. As I was being lifted into the car the carrier door gave way and I was dumped on the hot pavement at Petsmart. Terrified, I ran under the foster's car and hid. The silly human couldn't find me so after searching under all the cars in the parking lot, she decide to start the car and go find a humane trap with which to snare me. The running motor startled me so I ran under a nearby Hummer. I was sighted. So my claustophobic foster had to crawl under the Hummer and peel me off the catalytic converter. Do you see why my new nickname is Hummer? I think I am a lucky cat? If you can look past my initial timidity, I promise to be the most loving of cats. Think about it... I am sure I deserve a better life.
